People were coming in to grab a bite to eat, or just to sit and drink some coffee and watch people and Pokemon playing together on the beach. It was a nice day, so it was surprising that so many people were inside, but Lilith couldn't help but guess that part of the reason so many people were in Rosie's Café that day was that she was in town. Being part of the Elite Four was like being a celebrity, in a sense. Everyone knew who you were, knew your face, your name, your claim to fame. Everyone also seemed to know that you were among the best of the best, and thus seemed to be a little afraid of you. Of course, Lili did her best to be personable whenever she could, so long as people knew their place. She knew she was superior, and she wanted to make sure everyone else knew that. Sitting back at the table by the window, Lilith watched as one of the people that worked at the cafe, a young man probably around her age, with a Swablu right behind him, brought her order, a cup of coffee with cream and sugar. Placing it down in front of her, he said, "It's on the house, Miss Alraune." "Oh, is it?" Lilith asked, her eyes lighting up. Taking a glance at Nero, who also seemed to smile, she said, "Well, thank you~ I appreciate it~" /It's probably spiked with something,/ Nero commented, watching the man turn around and walk off. /Did you see how he was looking at you?/ /He wouldn't stand a chance with me, Nero,/ Lili replied, laughing quietly, picking up the cup of coffee and taking a sip. /After all, did you see his Soulmate? That thing would probably faint if you glared at it~ And he's not attractive at all.../ Rolling her eyes, she rest her head on her hand, staring out at the sea. /Besides, isn't everyone staring at me?/ she asked, taking a quick glance around the packed cafe, noticing the only table that wasn't completely full was the one she was sitting at. /Well, I can't blame them for staring~ I am pretty magnificent, after all~/[/style] |
