FEARS::

[/u] Be it something small like a game of chess, or an actual match, Tad does not take the action well. It causes him to push himself to the breaking point, until he knows he can win a second time. Reckless, but effective all the same.
-- Cuddling; It disgusts him. Tad is a 'hit it once, then I'm gone' type of individual, and the act of wanting to share something pitiful as this truly bothers the black.
-- Opening Doors; Odd? Yes. Inconvenient? Completely. He hates touching anything he thinks to be contaminated with others peoples germs, and views doorknobs and handles to be a mesh pool of breeding bacteria.

STORY::

The Rourke family has always been a well off, high middle-class family. Mrs. Rourke, or 'Mother' was an herpetologist, deep in the study of different fragrances applied to Pokemon, and the affects each would have. Her research methods proved to be helpful to countless Professors and fellow Researchers, and helped them achieve a well-known status amongst the surrounding area. Mr. Rourke, 'Father' was equal in his success of helping younger Trainers raise and level-up their Pokemon. Whilst his methods weren't the kindest, they were affective, which is all that mattered to the Rourke's.

A few short years into their marriage, Thaddeus was born. He proved to be their pride and joy, learning quickly, a social butterfly and maturing with an almost unmatched intelligence. In an offspring, Thaddeus was everything the Rourke could have asked for, and didn't think it was possible another could be as great.
Well, they were correct. Six years after the birth of Thaddeus, Lafayette was brought into the picture. He was almost a stark contrast to the older, being more reserved, mellow, and frail. Like the weaker chick in a nest of Mandibuzz, he was cast aside from the adoration of his parents, which was enjoyed in full by Teddy.

Being the older, more skilled, talented, charming, and handsome brother, Teddy took every opportunity to remind Loffy just how inferior the younger was. No way in Hell would the blond every come close to matching the black's supremacy. It was a constant struggle between the two, resulting in Teddy bashing Loffy severely, to the point of hospitalization. And still, their parents swooned over the first born, claiming he would go far in life. None of this ever felt wrong to Teddy. In fact, he got a sick satisfaction from the matter, being the sadist he is.

While the two boys continued to grow, Thaddeus began to grow more and more bored with their fights, viewing the younger as now more of an annoying tool who tried his damned hardest to do something better than his older sibling. Nothing every worked, of course, to the amusement of the black, but the blonde's seemingly endless tenacity was aggravating. He just didn't know when to quit. When the proper age came from him to leave if he wish, Teddy was completely willing, happy to finally be rid of parents that followed his every word as if laced with gold, and a persistent, clueless brother.

He embarked on a journey, living more like a marauder than anything. It got him into some rough spots, and worked up a bit of a scandalous reputation. So when he applied himself to be a Ranger, his integrity always seemed to be an issue, having to be brought up constantly if he was loyal to the cause, or slipping back into his old ways. Thaddeus will always be the first to claim 'Old habits die hard', but apart from that, never expands on the issue, leaving many to question his intentions. Including his younger brother, who managed to weasel himself in as a Ranger as well.
