CLASS:: Shifter. Thief, rogue, and occasionally a feral Pokemon, but yes, mainly a shifter.

-- Courageous. “Fear” isn’t in his vocabulary.
-- Concise. You’ll know exactly what he wants, when he wants it. No hesitation.
-- Knows his place. He’ll walk softly among the big dogs: he knows what’s good for him. Anyone with the strength and skill to scare him obviously deserves his respect.
-- Good leader. Or maybe he’s just bossy. Call it a talent.
-- Cunning. The kid’s street smart, you can give him that. He’s always got his wits about him.
-- Good actor. Wait. What? …Well, it comes in handy, anyway. He can lie like a rug if he has to.

[/b] If a few people get hurt, well, better them than him. It’s nice to have a cause and all, but no organization is worth your live. Ever.
-- Find a cure. For the shifting, that is. As nifty as it is to sometimes be stronger and faster, loosing control just isn’t fun for him. He likes to plan things out, and randomly going feral in the middle of a conversation just isn’t right. If a chance ever comes along to become a normal human and rid himself of the shifting, he’d take it in a heartbeat.
-- Win. Win what? The war, of course. Whether the Rangers or Unifi look like they’ll win is yet to be decided, but he’ll take the side of whoever looks stronger, eventually. Ryou is drawn to power like a moth to a flame, and this war is going to change the region. No matter which side he has to join, he wants a spot in the new world.

[/b] Not only does it hurt his ever-fragile dignity, but it usually means either enslavement or death. Neither of which seem to be good options.
-- Death. His past haunts him forever, and he’s positive that, whatever hell there is for half-human freaks like him, that’s where he’s going.
-- Water. Yes, he’s more afraid of water than he is of death. It’s irrational, he knows. But it’s hardwired into his brain: water is bad. Very, very bad. Maybe this will fade if he can stop the shifting, but until then…
