BREEDER • 23 • TRAVELLING • SERENEHANA 'RIN' EIRENNELINK TO PROFILEThe young queen, she fixed him with an arrogant eye She said, "You won't understand, and you may as well not try" But her face was a child's, and he thought she would cry But she closed herself up like a fan. THE WOMAN ...I could lie and say that Rin is easy to get to know, but then God would strike me down. Oh, she's amiable enough in a calm, distant sort of way, and if you're a weary little pokemon than she's practically your best friend, but this Breeder is more than a little wary about letting people get close to her. In that she doesn't let them. At all. She saves her soft and gentle side for her job. The rest of the time, she is serene and practical and very, very driven. So don't get between her and her goals, for you risk being trampled, albeit politely.
[/blockquote] THE PEOPLE So who are you to her? Are you a friend who isn't offended by the fact that she very clearly fears letting people get in too close, thus making herself vulnerable? Are you a customer who was pleased with her work, or looks to commission some from her now? Are you a sane person who is put off by her seeming coldness and frankness when asked about her opinions? Or are you a Unifi member who, perhaps, sees her fear of losing people and thus being hurt and thinks that, maybe, she could be persuaded to sympathise with their cause? (The latter in particular is a grey area where Rin is concerned - she's clearly anti-Pokemon cruelty, but she has a rather big chip on her shoulder about not letting people matter so much that losing them tears her apart...and Hermes already matters a lot, which scares her.)
[/blockquote] THE PLANS
I am very much a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants roleplayer, so I don't have any preset Plans (capital P required.) I just like letting my girl tell me where she wants to go and who she is willing to talk to and seeing what happens from there! She is on the move right now, so can start off pretty much anywhere, and some sort of travelling partner might be useful logistically. But seriously, I'm open to anything and I CHALLENGE you to hit me with your best shot. =P

GENJI&&HANA Well, I'm bored, so I figured what better to do than plot. Knowing of the nature of your character, the fact that she is very distant and unable to really let people know her. Genji, as I've RP'd his variants in the past, very much enjoys confrontations with these sort of people. Once Genji makes the observation that she indeed won't trust him anytime soon, he will begin to try whatever it takes to make her trust him. Not really for any sort of true purpose but more of a game, one that really cannot be "won" persay. Genji wouldn't be offended by the fact that she wouldn't open up to him, but he would act in whatever way necessary to try to change this. I think that it could turn out awkward and... fun if they were to meet. Of course, I cannot guarantee that Genji wouldn't cross a line of privacy/safety, but I can guarantee he would have fun doing it. As for any real definitive ideas, I'm sort of blank on that. No matter where they meet or what Hana is doing, if Genji is bored enough and Hana is willing enough to keep him company, then its a thread.

HANA & GENJIAhaha, thank you for christening her plot page, even if it was out of boredom. ^^ As a shifter, Genji is actually slightly more tolerable than normal people in Hana's eyes, but I like the fact that I don't think I'll know how she'll react to him without actually threading it out. I LIKE to be surprised by roleplay, so that works for me.
How successful he is with the trusting thing will be context sensitive of course, but I'm certainly up for throwing them together and seeing what happens. Hana doesn't actively make the effort to socialise with people, but neither is she rude enough to overtly-rebuff them or send them on their way, so if they encountered each other on the road or something and were headed in the same direction...a basis for at least an idle conversation, do you think?

GENJI&&HANA I also love having nothing really planned to an exact point. Which is why I have my characters obsess over the smallest of words spoken and actions done, so that plots can be twisted and turned because of one action. Anyway, I think that if they were indeed heading the same way some small talk could spark up "could" isn't the right word. So, yeah, I think that meeting whilst walking towards some random place could be fun. However, I think I will avoid the initiative here and just go ahead and ask you: Where do you wish for this location to be?

HANA & GENJIYou're just like me. xD I'm bad at plotting because I always have to include a disclaimer that allows for stuff in play to drastically change any 'plans' that were made. So, in general, to allow for realism, I just don't plan.
A good location would probably be somewhere just out of Miragova Town - Hana had business there, but will probably leave on foot, so I hope that works?

GENJI&&HANA Sounds good to me. Genji has nowhere to be so he can be doing anything right now. Seeing as how Hana doesn't seem to be the type of person to engage in conversation.. do you want to start it so Genji can confront her and make up some sort of excuse for doing so? xD
