Be it just an acquaintance that she met once at the bookstore, a fellow researcher or "study buddy," or a best friend she's had since childhood, Sophie treats them all with respect and a great deal of love unless they try to kill her or her Soulmate or something. Speaking of her Soulmate, you better be nice to Leopold too, or else she will take offense and not want to be your friend (harrumph!). Same thing goes with Ming, though Sophie knows very well that the little Mienfoo will gladly beat up on anyone that tries to do wrong to her![/style]

Being a pacifist, she's the type to try to sort things out rather than immediately throw someone on her list of enemies and be done with it. However, if you're part of Unifi (and are stupid enough to reveal it), you fall here by default, no questions asked. One of Sophie's ultimate goals is to see the fall of Unifi, so she's not the type to make friends with the monsters that fuel the nightmare that's keeping her from fulfilling her dream. Other than that, it's not easy to become one of Sophie's enemies, but like I said, if you try to kill her or either of her Pokemon, or act like a total jerk, she'll probably get angry at you and not speak to you. However, this probably won't last very long, as she usually gets over anger quickly.[/style]

Though there's bound to be a lot of drama along the way, quite possibly with crushes that she gets on others and that others get on her. She's not really the type for flings, though there's always the chance that she could be convinced. A potential rival (a rival researcher? hey, I guess it works) could also work--she might actually learn to be a little less trusting of people. Also, a traveling companion would be pretty nice, seeing as Sophie's the type to run and hide instead of stand and fight.[/style]

Her dream is to figure out all of the secrets that Aniferna has to offer, including the reason Soulmates exist, why some people exist as Shifters instead of having their Soulmate outside of their body, and the myth that Unifi has come up with when it comes to uniting soul and body, and whether it truly is a myth or not. She is about as terrified of Unifi as you could possibly get, and, as a result, tends to stay far, far away from areas of reported Unifi activity, especially since she really doesn't have much going for her in terms of protection. Her Herdier is just as eager to turn tail and run as she is, and her Mienfoo, as eager as she is to fight, just wouldn't be able to take on much more than a couple Rattata at best. But despite her cowardice, she's a sweet girl, and simply wants the nightmare of Unifi to go away so she can continue her research in peace. [/style]

Oh hello there I'm spamming. So, we've already established that they'll start as friends and work their way from there, "what ifs" and all. And then I thought of a possibility: as they get to becoming closer, would they become travelling companions, or would they simply stay in touch? I dunno, whatever you wanna do -- just throwing out some ideas there. :'D
