Like the season she's named for, Summer is warm and friendly. She likes to mother people (this translates into feeding them too much and giving excellent bear hugs) and is rather good at being what people need. Unfortunately, she's also bossy and doesn't respect people's personal space. BUT she's the Gym Leader of Virenya City, so maybe she has a right to be bossy. As it stands, she's pro EVERYONE LOVING EVERYONE and very, very anti Team Unifi. Them and meat eaters are the only things that make her go 'rawr.'

If you've ever spent any time in Virenya in the past seven years, you're sure to have run into Summer - she has her fingers in most pies and is very, very social (as well as quite nosy.) She likes to bustle around the City, keeping up with its people as much as she can. She also feeds people through her shifts at one of the restaurants so lots of avenues for her to meet people. Basically, she likes to collect friends and 'charges', the people she thinks need looking after. Not many people get on her bad side unless you're diametrically opposed to one of her more stubborn beliefs - such as eating meat or believing that Team Unifi might have a point.

Standard disclaimer, I don't plot so much as say 'hey, this might happen or it might now, let's have fun in the waiting and seeing!' For now, I'm looking for some friends for Summer (maybe some sort of Gym Leader pow wow at some point?) and some people she annoys by insisting that they need mothering. Gym Challengers are always good, and as for you Team Unifi members...well, Summer wants you OUT of her city. Rawr.

Well, seeing as Lili hails from Virenya City, she comes back every so often to visit her parents, so she's probably run into Summer at one point or another (either on "official" Elite Four business at the gym or just on a whim). I can see the two being pretty good buddies, and probably, if Lili can manage to charm her enough, having had some kind of something either in the past or in the future (because Lili is about as shameless as they get). Not to mention they're both very against Unifi, so there's always room for some kind of opportunity for some side-by-side asswhoopery.

Summer is indeed queen of surprise glomps and makeouts. It's her superpower.
I love the idea that Summer is 'holding down the fort' in Virenya so to speak, as far as Lilith is concerned. I can definitely see the two touching base a lot whenever Lil's back, with plenty of gossip. And Summer would certainly alternate between flirting and 'goodness gracious, Lil, you're skinny - have you been eating enough? -suspicious look-' For anything beyond that...well, it's unlikely to have occurred in the past since Summer IS seven years older than Lil and wouldn't cross the adult/kid boundary (god knows what that is in pokemon-world, but I'm going with 18 here.) So at least on Summer's side, there's a definite bit of 'I don't want to be a cougar! D=' BUT the whole Elite Four thing gives Lil some added maturity in her eyes and Summer's actually pretty chill about a 'kid' outranking her quite so much. Especially since their respective type specialisations leaves Summer quite so disadvantaged. Flirting I can promise, anything more intense than that would probably be very context specific.
But that is a beautiful notion, Lil + Summer against some Unifi goons. The ass-whupping, it would be impressive. [/ramble ramble ramble]

LOGAN & SUMMERSome fairly predictable suggestions here xD When Logan eventually gets to Virenya his first port of call will be to challenge the Gym. I think it would be hilarious for Logan to bump into Summer while she's bustling about the city, only to have a WTF moment once he's beaten all the trainers and realized that the veggie ditz he ran into was the Gym Leader. Some Unifi whupping would be cool too, they'd be pretty much agreed on that point, though Logan might even be a bit more fanatic about it. As for meat-eating... xD I don't think it's likely to come up. Even if she more or less dumped a plateful of greens in front of him and told him to eat up, he'd be like "Hmph. Well, it's nutritious." And eat a mountain of the stuff until he was full.

Ahaha, oh, that's a lovely idea. Some random encounter with Summer at her most blonde in which she is thoroughly and hopelessly ditzy, then her behaviour as a confident, strong gym leader in stark contrast to that. I love it.
And the nice thing about her is that, though she's a bossy-boots, she's not all that competitive. So she'll give a battle her all, but even if she loses she's quite pragmatic about it and she'll still insist that they be mates. xD So if he's prepared to deal with her persistent insistence on being friendly, they COULD be friends, I think.
Either way, chance encounter thread in Virenya sound good to you? I'm fairly eager to throw her into play.
